About

Birchwhisper is a quiet archive — a place for songs, notes, and things that grow slowly.

It is not a blog. It is not a portfolio. It is not a business.

It is a garden that is sometimes in bloom and sometimes at rest. Nothing here follows a schedule. There is no pressure for anything to happen. If something grows, it grows. If it doesn’t, the process is still the point.

The name comes from the birch tree — a tree that whispers rather than speaks. It does not describe what is inside. It sets a mood: quiet, indefinite, unhurried.

Why

I wanted a place of my own. Not to perform, not to sell, not to chase anything. Just a place to keep what I make and what I love — songs arranged for guitar, notes on books and walks, and whatever else finds its way here.

The music section — the songbook — is one room. The journal is another. There may be more rooms one day, or there may not.

For whom

For anyone who wants to play. Beginners, self-taught guitarists, children, adults who always meant to learn. People who don’t read music but love songs.

No prior knowledge is needed. No standard notation is required. The chords are written. The singing is free.

A note on time

There are no dates here. No “posted on”, no “updated”. Things stand on their own, without a clock. What is here is here.
